Froggy’s Day with Dad is a fun story about a little frog who spends a very special Father’s Day with his Dad. He starts off by making him breakfast in bed. Next the fun begins with a day at the “fun park”. After riding Bumper Boats and playing at the batting cage (with a few silly mishaps ) they finally do their original plan and play Miniature Golf . They story ends at home with a nice gift Froggy made for his Dad with his very own hands.
This was a nice story not just about a Father’s Day gift, but about a boy spending important quality time with his dad. I enjoyed the fact that Froggy’s gift was more than just a material gift. It was also his time. In a busy world when we’re often short on time, it’s nice to see a story where we get back to the basics of a family entity.
Overall this was a great read, with funny moments and a wonderful family lesson. This was a great book to enjoy not just Father’s Day, but any day.
