   Tell us about yourself?

Well, all I can say about me is that I am adventure loving and seeking person. I work as a teacher in Kashmir, India. I love to write whatever comes to me. I am involved in lot of social causes, supporting them and helping them, mainly in field of disability. music, poetry and adventure is all i do.

Tell me about your blog(s), name(s), what does it mean to you?

I have two blogs one for my writings and other for my photography. Aye I forgot  to tell I am a hobby photographer also.

this is my writing blog. Its name is “ Spur of Emotions”

this is my photo blog. Its name is “phoetry = photo+poetry”

I write under the name of “Fidoic”. It has no dictionary meaning. This is the word I made for myself. It means “ one who is aware of his ignorance, one who is not perfect and know this fact”

I don’t know how I came up with this word but I did.

When have you started blogging?

To be precise I started blogging on October 12th 2008, for a cause, to support a local special school working for disabled children. Then I went on a hibernation period, as I would call it. Its been only a year that I took blogging seriously to promote social causes and my poetry.

What's the theme(s) of your blog(s)? What do you write most? poetry, fiction or novel, or  short stories?

I mostly write on the theme of social taboos and evils, against them. In poetry I focus on the emotions and feelings of people, what they feel while passing through different situations.

What are the inspirations of your writing?

Emotions, in other words the suffering people go through and how they face them and make a come back.. in short human behavior is my inspiration. And of course love.

Does music impact your writing?

a lot. I love music. I play guitar. And all the way music and poetry are related. Music creates an atmosphere feasible for writing.

You are involved with Bluebell Books Short Story Slam writing challenge? How do you feel about it so far? What's the benefits of it?

Bluebell books short story slam writing challenge, I came across this while reading a blog. I was really interested in some prompts for me, and you people are best at doing it. The challenges you post make me wonder that am  I able to cope them up, and give me strength. Reading others at your site give me more of energy to face these challenges. It has provided me with a lot of inspiring people who also love to write and are good in their subjects. with your help i am able to read the peers and in turn get my work read by the masters of the subject.

Do you have a favorite book or author?

I read a lot. Shakespeare, is my idol when it comes to vivid writing. I love to read Paulo Coelho and Mario Puzo. The favorite book, is indeed “the winner stands alone, by Paulo Coelho.

Any tips for those who started blogging and wish to become successful in it.

Write, what u can, don’t compel your brain to write, words come from heart. You don’t have to think.

What's your writing plans in the near future?

Writing is my passion, and I would like to make it my profession also. I am working on a few plots by the time. Hope to get published soon.
